Burger or Hamburger is savored as the most desired fast food meal in the United States. A hamburger is basically a sandwich prepared by stuffing ground meat patty, generally beef, between two slices of a bun cut in half. Hamburger is also famous for its seasoning. Most popular condiments used in hamburgers in the United States are mustard, mayonnaise, and ketchup. Besides ground meat patty, hamburgers are also stuffed with lettuce, onions, tomato slices, pickles, and cheese.
Hamburgers are also categorized into two types in the United States. Fast food hamburger and individual hamburgers served at restaurants are two basic types of burgers served in the United States. The individual hamburgers served at restaurants are prepared using everything including lettuce, onion, tomato, and sliced pickles as well as melted cheese on the patty or crumbled on top. American restaurants also serve veggie burgers for those who don't relish meat. Cheeseburgers are also hot favorite in the United States.
McDonalds is the most popular fast food burger restaurant serving different types of burgers in the United States. On the other hand, there are several restaurants such as Burger King are famous for serving the best hamburgers in the United States. Where is the first place you'd go after running marathon? For me the answer is In and Out, which is exactly what we did. We were immediately created by our young, friendly cashier Gauge. He took our order, asked how our day way going, and with that simple question seemed to go above and beyond the job. When my husband told him I had just run a marathon, he said, "and you're only going to eat one burger?" We each got the classic cheeseburger animal style. Is there any other way? The burgers looked as heavenly as they tasted. The fries fresh and crisp. Closed the mea with a black and white shake. It's the kind of shake you have to work for...thick and creamy. A total successful In and Out trip, but aren't they always???

Best fast food ever! It's always fresh, never frozen. The meat is REAL, actual, beef! The fries come in the back door as REAL potatoes and are then transformed. Compared to the other national fast food chains, there is no contest. This is real food, instead of Franken-Food! Yum!

Grease, grease, and more grease!!! For real though, if you want to be fat and gain a lot of weight go to McDonalds at least the food tastes better.

I used to love this place then got burned out. But I'm back. I like that you can request different ingredients, combinations and cooking methods. Delicious food but limited menu. I wish they had onion rings. They treat their employees and customers well.
(4)Joy M.
If I crave for a fast, good but affordable burger I come here. I love ordering a lot of their 'secret' menu. This is the place that you will never see an unhappy employee. They just all seem so happy and excited all the time.

Fresh, fast, and friendly service, that's In n' Out's trademark. It was a different taste for us at first when we tried their burgers. But we came to realize that that's how freshness tastes like! Eventually we became fan and who wouldn't with their value for a hamburger. Right sized burger (at least not from the secret menus) and freshness you can be sure and guaranteed every time.

What a lovely experience we had here. With three grandkids, two kids, and us, we had a large order of ... well everything. :) The line was long when we arrive, but moved briskly. the ordering is brain-dead simple to do. The food came quickly and was devoured in the same manner. Tasty burgers, great low salt fries that you could add salt to if you wished. Washed down with sodas or tea, this was a successful feeding of the troops. I can see why this place is so highly recommended.

The people working at this location have always been friendly and professional, something In-N-Out prides itself on. This restaurant is not the fastest location I have ever been to, and it can get really crowded during the lunch rush, but the food is always fresh and delicious. You can always rest assured youll get a consistent quality product here.

I love In n Out! If you are going to do fast food burgers this is the place to go. This particular location, which looks just like every other In n Out, you've ever been to, is right off the freeway so it's super convenient. My wife and I always get our buyers protein style; burgers wrapped in lettuce instead of a bun. I like the raw onions my wife goes for the animal style onions.
(5)Gavin S.
Amazing burger for such a small menu but well worth it and not to mention that the animal style fries are to kill for.
(5)Todd R.
The burgers are great! I am not a fan of their fries though. They are skinny and hard and there are always crumbs at the bottom of the basket. Better option than any other fast food burger joint (Burger King, Wendy's, McDonald's).

If you were raised in SoCal this is what you grew up on. It's great to have a familiar go to place. Once you learn the secret menu, you are going to enjoy Burger heaven! #2 animal style with light fries is my choice!
(5)Steve A.
Its another burger place. I like the toasted bun and the sauce. The frys I found too greasy.

My wife and I tried the American Fork store when it first opened and were so disappointed we swore never to go back. The fries were dripping grease and the burger was as dry as the Sahara. Yet, our son is a fan and insisted this was the place to eat for his birthday. We grudgingly tagged along and allowed him to order for us. I was pleasantly surprised as the double double animal was hot and juicy with plenty of sauce and onions and the fries were hot and fresh. I still think the fries are close to wooden sticks and I observed that most of our party didn't eat the fries. I think In-N-Out is overrated and seems more like a place for families with kids and not a serious hamburger place. I may try eating there again, but, maybe not.
(3)Jeff G.
I took the whole office over for lunch for an employee birthday party. Everyone loved it even those haters who thought they didnt. They didnt remember it being that good. Only problem I forsee is that it took a long time for the food to come out as they were very busy.

Just moved from an area that we had 2 in-n-outs within a stone's throw, so I know my in-n-out, k? This is the worst in-n-out I've ever eaten, and my husband is now very sad that it is our local one! They screwed up our order, left out an entire double-double from the bag. The animal fries, EW! Too much sauce, burned the onions, over done fries. My kids love the animal fries and they just said BLECK! and wouldn't finish them. That is pretty hard to do, turn KIDS against FRENCH FRIES! We had one of the worst in-n-out experiences ever here, so bad that I'm thinking of writing the company! Dirty, messy, horrible double-double, missing one, burnt fries, gross. Just gross. This is so not the usual for the workers or the food of in-n-outs. They need to take this location and send them to in-n-out school!! Never again.

Came in on Monday Mar 25th around 11pm. I ordered some crazy strange shit off the hidden menu and the guy helping was super helpful, very friendly and more energetic than I at that hour of the night. The order was perfect. (Which, considering the level of my custom order, was impressive) The staff was friendly. It was very refreshing. The whole crew did an outstanding job. Just very friendly and spot on with everything.
(5)Kelly R.
Not a gourmet burger joint but a solid, classic, good burger place. Love the cheap prices and the that everything is fresh. The buns are perfect and the tomato and lettuce are always crisp and the perfect cold element to a hot burger. My fav is the cheeseburger Monster style, (that's with sauteed onions). The shakes are way too sweet for me though. I used to look forward to going to Vegas and CA just so I could go to In-n-Out! So happy they expanded and are here! YAY! My 35 lb kid downed her first burger here in less than 3 minutes flat and asked for more. She was one happy camper. I know the feeling. Needless to say it's a family favorite! Ha!
(4)Sam S.
For cheap, fast food you can't beat In-N-Out Burger. I love the double double cheeseburger with ketchup, fries, and a chocolate milkshake. Strawberry shakes are also good. When I want something quick, satisfying and cheap, In-N-Out Burger is the place to go.
(5)Shaun R.
Hands down the best fast food burger chain in the entire world!
(5)Drew D.
I think anyone from California has a hard time being objective about In-N-Out. And really it just isn't fair for anyone to have to hear nonstop hype about it, because it's JUST a hamburger and fries. The ingredients are fresh and in terms of a fast food burger. It doesn't get better. BUT, it's a burger. It's not fine dining cuisine, so if people are expecting more than a burger and fries, they won't really be too impressed. It's like when people rave about a movie so much you can't help but be let down. Nonetheless, in terms of a a big chain of fast food restaurants serving a burger and fries, it is as good as it gets. And I'm not saying I'm not biased, because I grew up going to In-N-Out, and I still think it's great.

Sad day, the new INO meat patties are smaller and thinner than ever, it was hard to see mine on my burger today. Must be hard times, but don't reduce the size of the meat. That's what folks want to taste. What a shame they are changing their product. Their fresh cut fries are still great though. Lots of folks hate them because they never have had fresh before, only frozen elsewhere. Updated 7/5/14...still can't get anyone to come here with me. They all say there is no meat on the single burger.

3x3 with grilled onions. animal fries. i love this chain for burgers and try to hit them up whenever i can when in a state lucky enough to have them so on our way to the airport from this last business trip to utah, we convinced the boss man to swing by for a bite before our flight. nothing like a light meal after a looooong work week outta town...and lemme tell ya, this ain't nothing like a light meal! hahaha. om nom nom! only reason they got 3 stars this time is my fries was cold and a little too salty. burger was punch-your-own-face good, tho. please note that, though this is a fast food chain, i think everything is cooked to order and might take longer than the mcd's you're used too. worth the few extra minutes wait in my opionion but if you're trying to catch a flight, just fyi.

I almost peed my pants with excitement to find out along our road trip to Colorado and back that there was an In-N-Out in Utah!! Or maybe it was all that water I drank in the car??? Either way, this might be one of the only things UT has going for it. Everything else (besides the national parks and cool dinosaur stuff) is just plain EEEK! This In-N-Out is right off of the freeway with easy access on/off. When my family and I got there it was very busy but we still managed to find a seat. I think I may have stuck out like a sore thumb, the lone tattooed female in a sea of cute LDS boys manning the registers and sipping on caffeine free beverages. I wish I was there right now!!
(5)Jeff C.
It's so simple I think that many people over analyze it. Fresh food, great prices and awesome friendly service. I really wish more people used there business model. I can understand if you don't want to like the food but it's great. The only fast food place that I could eat at regulary and not feel like I'm damaging myself.

Coming from an area that is not "blessed" with any In-N-Out burger locations, and growing up hearing about the magical powers of anything "Animal Style" from all my California friends, it is rather difficult to objectively judge In-N-Out. But, with the recent openings outside of California, I felt I owed it to myself to give this place an honest try. The hype machine has been rolling on this one for years now, to the point now where if you say you DO love it, you are simply "buying into the hype," but if you DON'T love it, you are conversely, "just a hater." But I am taking a middle-of-the-road stance on this one. I will say it was better than I expected, seeing how I went in completely skeptical of its supposed greatness, but it was still nothing mind-blowing by any means. Here is my breakdown: The Good: The ingredients of the burger taste very fresh. The veggies are crisp, the bun is soft and has an adequate grease absorbance factor. The "animal-style" option adds the most value to the burger. These secret spices add to the burger tremendously, and the grilled onions are fabulous. However, I can't help but fell like it is totally gimmicky to have this whole secret menu deal. Just add "animal-style" or "doggy-style" or any other mumbo-jumbo to the bloody menu so I can know what to expect. But they know this is one of the allures of this place that makes locals feel like they have the one-up on us poor, ignorant out-of-towners. I mean, lets face it, no one can be as cool as Californians anyways. The Bad: Most notably, the fries are some of the worst I have ever eaten. Seriously, McDonald's is even better. Mine tasted like cardboard, without any crisp, and without much flavor. With each one, I literally said out loud, "Man, these are awful." The burger was otherwise OK, but still lacked beefy flavor. I prefer the thicker patty over the thin ones at most fast food places, but that's just personal preference. In all, I would definitely say that In-N-Out has a solid place in the food world. I can imagine that if I were still in high school and had just blown half my money on the fattest Pogs slammer and needed an inexpensive burger, I would be more than happy with this place for a cheap, above-average-fast-food joint. Easily beats out Wendy's, Burger King, McDonald's etc. for burgers. Maybe I am missing the point here, but there was really nothing special about this place that would make we want to schedule it into one of my culinary pit-stops during my next visit to In-N-Out territory.

Nicest people in the world work here. It was weird, it was like they all actually enjoyed their job. Utah gets a bad rap for being, ah em "different", but I tend to find that most people that live here just take some time to come out of their shell. Well, not the manager here, she was friendly, accommodating, and made us feel right at home. :) The food was also great. Keep in mind this is "FAST FOOD". They have a simple menu that is consistently good. Technically, if you really want to make a fair comparison then it should go up against McDonald's. I would say the owner did pretty darn good his second time around!

i love in-n-out. Doesn't matter the state, time of day, or who I'm with. It's amazingly simplistic and tasty.
(5)Leslie H.
I LOVE IN-N-OUT!!! My husband introduced me to In-N-Out when we were dating. He really likes the Double Double animal style (extra spread, grilled onions, fried with a little mustard, and pickles). I prefer the cheeseburger with grilled onions. The great thing about In-N-Out is that you get a really good burger for about the best price around.

Ok, first I have to admit that I grew up eating In-N-Out Burgers. In fact, Mrs. Schneider, a founder, lived just down the street. As a kid I remember getting the old school, wooden nickel-like gift certificates from Mrs. Schneider so I could take my mom to lunch. She was a great lady! In-N-Out burgers rise to the top because they've been doing it right for years. Fresh (never frozen) meat, crisp lettuce, gooey cheese, amazing sauce, fresh buns..... I've never found another burger that compares. The great thing about In-N-Out is that they prepare every burger to order. Want extra cheese? Grilled onions? A whole grilled onion? Pickles? Hot peppers....? Just let them know. Most other fast food establishments don't really appreciate custom orders. But, at In-N-Out, custom orders are expected, even encouraged. And the fries? In-N-Out is one of the few places where freshly sliced potatoes are given a quick bath and then thrown directly into hot oil. Not frozen, not bagged, no artificial flavors, no preservatives, just freshly fried potatoes--the real thing. No question, In-N-Out makes my favorite burger. And, I'm in good company. It's no secret that the queen of French cuisine, the late Julia Child also had a soft spot for the Double-Double.

Give the quality-starved hosers of Utah true American institution and they rate it a 3 and a half. What the fetch? Spotless, fast, smart, delicious. In-n-Out in AF came, saw, and ruined the competition (booya chadders!). Off menu must haves: - double double animal style - animal fries - lemon-up (pink lemonade/7-up mix - animal style carb wrap - 4x4 animal - anything with grilled onions eat deeply, eat often
(5)Scott A.
A great burger. Little Acorn in PG has just as good a burger or better but the In-Out-Fries are the best I've ever eaten. A simple menu makes the choice easy. Burger, Fries, Shakes.. not much more. The only problem I have is finding a table to sit at lunch time and the long lines at the drive up.
(5)Seth M.
I have gone to In-N-Out a few times since they have come to Utah County and I have not been impressed at all. I don't understand the hype. If you want a burger go to 5 Guys (they have bacon) or just make a burger at home.
(1)Steven H.
I don't really like the fries. And burger and shakes are simple, but maybe that is what other people love about In & Out. The service is usually great, they seem to care enough about speedy service to always have enough people on hand to keep orders going out quickly.
(3)Abraham G.
I really don't know what the deal is with this place. The burgers are not bad at all, but they are not amazing either. The fries however are horrible, worst I've ever had, and it's not only on this location, it's on all the ones that I've gone to
(2)Gina R.
So I just popped my In-N-Out cherry. I have to say that when I walked everyone greeted us with smiles. The employees were very friendly. Two stars for that. I ordered a cheeseburger meal with a vanilla shake. My hubby ordered a double "animal style". The burgers looked delicious. They are made to order which means they don't start making them until you order it. The first think I thought after biting into it was that it needed some salt. Like the patty needed more seasoning. Plus the thousand island dressing wasn't doing it for me. They call this "spread". All in all I would say it was okay. Two stars for service, one star for the burger and another star for price. It's defintely better than mcdonalds or burger king though.
(4)Joe G.
Inn-N-Out is good, but not great. I don't like their fries, but I love their secret menu - look it up on Google. The menu is simple, the burgers are good, better than most fast food burgers and they are pretty quick as well. You'll see a long line in the drive through most of the day, but it moves really quickly. If you want a good burger quick it's better than Wendy's, BK, and McD's.
(3)Toby B.
Burgers here taste way better on the way in than they smell on the way out.
(5)Dead M.
We stopped here, after finding one in Utah. We have never been to one of these joints before, but heard so much good about them, we just had to try it. The place was clean and new looking.. the staff behind the counter was happy and fresh, which was nice. We ordered four #2's and waited 10 minutes to get them.. not bad. Here is where we were NOT blown away... The burger is fresh, the veggies were great, etc.. BUT the taste did not blow us away. Their burger was a bit smaller, compared to other joints. The fries sucked big time. Short little stubs, greasy and really not even close to a McDonalds fry. So, after reading how great In-n-Out is, we simply had to give it a 3 star rating, and really don't plan on coming back anytime soon. It's a bummer, I was really hoping for a "WOW MOMENT" from this place, but I have had much better burgers from local greasy spoons in Washington state.
(3)Heidi L.
From NY (and originally from CA) and made a stop here - glad to see the Inn-N-Outs moving east! Burger was superb for the price, friendly service was beyond real (thought I might be back in the 50s), but the shake knocked this back a star for me even though that is one of their traditional strengths. I think seeing the gallon containers of "ice cream mix" on the counter made me realize that there are different interpretations of "real ice cream" and my chocolate shake just didn't taste very good any more.
